Kubikum Foundation Award

The Kubikum Foundation Award, which is awarded annually to the finalists of the START21ART competition for first, second and third place, as well as to the winner of the online vote, is an original, handmade author's sculpture. It has the shape of a stylized cube with sides of 80 mm, which visually characterizes the Kubikum Foundation logo and realistically transforms it from 2D to 3D space. It is made of 2 mm thick brass sheet, polished to a high gloss and surface treated with 23.5-carat gold or silver plating, and the third prize is surface treated with so-called rose gold. It is mounted on a pedestal made of polished black granite with dimensions of 100 x 100 x 30 mm.

The base has a label with the engraved logo of the competition, the ranking and the current year. The individual labels are surface-finished in accordance with the element on the base. The total height of the Kubikum Foundation Award is 160 mm.

The prize for the winner of the online vote is distinguished by a hand-stamped pattern on the outer sides of the element created with a six-pointed star-shaped stamp. The sculpture is surface-finished with 23.5-carat gold. The design and production were carried out by the company Arts & Craft in cooperation with students of the Private School of Art Industry in Hodruša-Hámre.
